What is coaching?
Life doesn’t usually announce when something major is about to happen. More often it catches us off guard and uncovers that the tools we’ve developed throughout our life are no longer fit for purpose.
Other times it’s subtle - we find there is something that we can’t quite make peace with, a pattern that keeps repeating or a sense that something needs to shift even if we can’t say what.
Coaching gives you a dedicated space to examine, explore, investigate, self enquire and establish new ways of being that allow you to flourish, with a foundation of support and encouragement.
I believe the true potential of coaching is in its flexibility. Coaching is not bound by a set of rules, rather it responds to what the client brings and where the client chooses to take the work.
Who comes to coaching?
People come to coaching for a variety of reasons. They might be stuck in a pattern that no longer serves them, a personal or professional relationship dynamic that isn’t working or have a habit that they’re finding hard to shift. Others are experiencing a significant change, a move, a career shift, personal loss, or a relationship breakdown. Perhaps they’re approaching a difficult decision and want to feel empowered in their choice.
Or, it may be simply a curiosity to explore doing things a different way.
You don’t need a clear reason to come to coaching - we can find that together.
What will happen in our sessions?
In our sessions I will listen deeply, reflect, encourage, ask questions, challenge, notice and offer observations and insights, while supporting you to make the transformation you are capable of.
I will bring curiosity, humour, compassion and a willingness to work in ways that best serve you, whether that’s encouraging you to reconnect the mind with the body, whether it’s challenging you or supporting you to hold yourself accountable to deadlines, or even simply offering a fresh perspective.
